A five-month old baby, who was not in a child seat, was reportedly left behind by her father who was later arrested on hit and run accident. Orlando PD were chasing down what they thought was a stolen vehicle when the driver sped off. Shortly after OPD found the vehicle that had been in an automobile accident at South Street and OBT. When the police approached the vehicle they were surprised to find a five-month old baby up behind the back seats, laying just below the rear window.

The police were appalled that someone would leave the scene of an accident without even checking to see if the baby was injured. They police arrested the father at a fast food restaurant nearby. He denied being the driver in the car crash.
