If you saw the picture of the accident, you would only assume that the worse had happened - that the driver must have been killed or at least severly injured. However, according to the report in the Lakeland Ledger, she ended up with on minor injuries.

The 59 year-old woman driver was in the center lane of I-4 going through Lakeland when she reportedly dozed off at the wheel. Her 2008 Ford then veered over into the right lane where there was an 18-wheeler traveling in the same direction. The Ford sedan pushed the semi up against a concrete wall along the outside lane and the semi rolled over on top of the Ford. The two vehicles travelled together and veered back across the highway and ended up on the guardrail separating the east and west bound lanes of I-4.

The driver of the Ford was trapped beneath the semi and after being extracted was transported to Lakeland Regional Medical Center with on minor injuries. Quite amazing!
