Consumers need to know about dangerous cribs on the market that have reportedly caused death and injury to numerous children. The products are sold under the Simplicity Inc. and Graco brand names. If you have a Simplicity or Graco crib injury you should report it to federal Consumer Product Safety Commission.
There have been reported cases of 3 death of children, 7 children that were trapped in the crib and 55 other reported incidents involving the cribs. The crib defects include design defects and and hardware malfunctions causing the drop rail to separate from the frame of the crib. The problem is that the drop rail can separate and cause infants to be trapped and potentially suffocate inside the crib.
