Florida Deputy Gets Probation for Misuse of Taser

Charles Dix, a former Escambia County Sheriff's Deputy, has been sentenced to probation and house arrest for misusing his taser. The deputy's reckless behavior has led to two civil settlements against the sheriff's department. Taser Internationalhas aggressively boasted of its court victories in numerous press releases but now the tide seems to be turning against the company and its reckless marketing practices.
