In just over a year 60% of restaurants in Orlando had 10 or more serious food inspection violations. Hundreds die each year from food related illnesses. Many or most are preventable with simple hygiene. These illnesses include infections with Escherichia Coli O157:H7, also known as E. Coli and hepatitis. E. Coli and hepatitis food illnesses can be acquired from restaurants or packaged foods. Restaurant inspections are state records and can be viewed online. Check out your favorite eating spot's report. You may be surprised (or sickened) by what you see.
