Two Infant Deaths Result in Recall of 1.6 Million Cribs

The crib recall was issued yesterday by Delta Enterprises after two infant deaths were reported. The recall involves cribs sold from 1995 to 2005 and does not effect the cribs currently on the market.

The cribs have drop sides and 985,000 of them require safety pegs that may have been lost during assembly. The remaining cribs have springs pegs that may have become worn out after years of use. Due to the fact that cribs are passed on to other family members or sold at garage sales even some of the older cribs may still be in use.

Delta is asking parents to contact them at 1-800-876-5304 or visit their website www.cribrecallcenter.com to obtain replacement pegs.
