A Chicago lawyer has taken out a $10,000 bounty on an anonymous blogger. Not to worry, however, the attorney is only seeking the blogger's identity. The Illinois attorney is upset because he was criticized by a blogger named "Troll Tracker."

"I want to find out who this person is," says Niro, who initially offered a $5,000 reward in last month's issue of the IP Law & Business trade magazine, and has since upped the ante to $10,000. "Is he an employee with Intel or Microsoft? Does he have a connection with serial infringers? I think that would color what he has to say."

The blogger has said that the lawyer's intellectual property firm represented people who don't make products but only own patents for licensing purposes.

I am not sure if it is a good or bad thing that there is no bounty based on my posts. Maybe we just aren't a popular read in Chicago yet.
