The American Association For Justice has prepared a detailed and disturbing report outlining the shocking behavior of insurance companies toward their own policy holders in connection with valid insurance claims. The report is called

. It details a pattern of shameful activity from the same big insurance companies that you see advertising that they are on your side. The actions show quite the opposite treatment of policyholders from the representations made in the ads. Insurance companies are denying or delaying payment of valid homeowners insurance claims in a variety of situations including hurricanes, fires, earthquakes and other claims that homeowners coverage is designed to protect. The report also details the record profits that the insurance companies have earned in this same time frame.
